Thank you for your new SOL boat order!


We will anticipate shipping your new SOL boat via a shipping carrier of our choice. The shipping carrier requires that you or your agent must be present when your boat is delivered.


The Freight carrier (and consequently SERO Innovation) can NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any damage unless you note any damage with the delivery driver and on the packing slip before you accept the boat.  It is not often that a boat arrives damaged but in the event that it does the following must be adhered to to have any chance of getting a claim paid via the freight carrier. 


  1. Contact us immediately (810-395-5447 or 586-744-8606).

  2. Take a whole bunch of pictures and don't be shy about it. (Pictures on the truck, pictures once unloaded prior to unpacking the boat, pictures of any damage, and any others you can think of.) 

  3. Do not, under any circumstance discard the cardboard box and/or crate the boat arrives in. 

  4. Note any damage with the driver and on the packing slip before you sign for the boat.


Your SOL boat is packed from the factory in a corrugated card board box which is how your new boat will be delivered to you to help avoid any damage but it is required that you inspect the boat to insure it has come to you damage free.  All packaging, boxes, etc. must be left with you.  It is not the responsibility of the driver/delivery company to haul away any waste.


Upon delivery you will need to be prepared to assist the driver with unloading the boat.  This is not something the driver can do by themselves.  In most cases a singular able bodied person and the driver will be enough.

Typically, we would process your credit card in two transactions.  The first transaction will include the cost of your new boat and accessories.  That charge was processed as soon as you placed your order.  The second charge will reflect the shipping/freight costs for all the items and will be processed just prior to shipment.

Thank you for the purchase of your new SOL Sailboat! 

Below you will find our shipping terms/conditions please review and respond with "Yes, I understand and agree".  

Your new SOL sailboat will be shipped by our chosen carrier in a factory-packed corrugated cardboard box. Please ensure that you or an authorized representative is present during delivery as the driver may require assistance. Typically, one capable person along with the driver is sufficient. 

You are responsible for all packaging and boxes, the driver or delivery company will not dispose of any waste.

Upon delivery please inspect the sailboat and all packaging materials and report any visible damage, missing parts, or discrepancies to us immediately. SERO Innovation and the carrier cannot assume responsibility for any damages unless we are notified in a timely manner.  Damages are uncommon but in the event they do occur, please contact us immediately at (810)395-5447.
